🤢 2/5 - This may have been the most bi-polar meal I've ever

This may have been the most bi-polar meal I've ever experienced. My wife, daughter, and I arrived for a 7:00 reservation to a nearly-empty restaurant. Our waiter greeted us, introduced the menu, and appeared to be a complete professional. He asked if we had time restraints and we told him we had tickets to Penn & Teller at 9:00 (just down the street from the Palms). Our first courses (Crudo & Oysters) arrived quickly and were excellent. Salads arrived shortly afterwards. Warm Salad was among the best salads I've ever eaten, while my wife's market salad was just so-so. After the salads were cleared, I checked the time and it was around 7:35. Dinner was moving along nicely and there was plenty of time before we needed to be at the show. Then, the meal went completely sideways. Our waiter simply disappeared. We had long since finished our cocktails and our wine (ordered 20+ minutes prior) never arrived. Water glasses had long been empty, as well. After we had been ignored for nearly 40 minutes, I got up and flagged down another server who said he'd "try to find" our waiter. Our waiter soon emerged, but still didn't come to our table, instead going to an adjacent table and casually chatting with them about how often them come to Vegas and what shows they would be seeing. Finally, after over an HOUR since we had finished our prior course, our waiter brought our entrees. Instead of being apologetic for ignoring us for over an hour, he blamed the kitchen and told us they messed up our orders (which he had never come to explain) and we were "lucky" that "someone left before their entrees were served" and we now had their food (?!?). My daughter said her pasta was good, but my wife's fish was ice cold and hard (had obviously been sitting out for some time) and my grilled Wagyu was simply inedible. It was cold, unseasoned, and so damn tough as to resemble shoe leather. By this time, it was already past 9:00 and we ended up missing around 25 minutes of Penn & Teller. I will give credit to the hostess/manager for removing the two uneaten entrees from the bill. Other than that, our waiter was rude, unprofessional, and completely unapologetic for abandoning us and causing us to miss 1/3 of our expensive post-meal show. Food ranged from excellent to worse than an Olive Garden. With the depth of high-end Italian in Las Vegas, you can avoid this place and never miss it. P.S. Restaurant promised they would reach out following my displeasure. Never happened.
