The lobby is on the first floor.
It is small, but well themed. Panther coffee is also located in the lobby area. The person checking us in let us know our room was complementary upgraded from a wonderful room to a spectacular room. He said the wonderful rooms are on a lower floor and do not include a tub. The front desk agent was kind, but seemed somewhat stressed. When we arrived there was no line, but one formed while we were checking in. Trying to make conversation I asked what restaurants he suggested in the area. He said he can't answer that because of the long line but if I come back later he would give me some suggestions. That was an interesting response for the price tag of this hotel. There is a mandatory $20 resort service charge added to every room reservation. This credit can be used toward purchase at Panther Coffee, Addikt, or the in room bar. The amenities are shared with tenants who live in the same building. The infinity pool is phenomenal. Three pools total. One is a kiddie pool, the second one is a HUGE hot tub, and the third one is a long lap pool. The pools are located on the 15th floor with spectacular views. This was the highlight of our stay. We loved the multi level couches located at the end to peacefully soak in the views. The pools close at sunset- 6:30pm during our stay. We used our $20 credit at AddiKT. Restaurant was completely empty and service was extremely slow. You can order food to go which was a plus. Keep in mind that all purchases here include a mandatory 20% service fee. As of January 2024 the spa is under refurbishment. The rooms were huge in size. Loved the two grand doors to the bathroom. Our balcony was facing other buildings, I have read it's best to request a water view if available. However, we loved the city view. Comfortable bed.
Be the first to ReplyDon't do it.
.. I would rather stay at ANY other hotel than this location.... As others mentioned.... This is DEFINITELY NOT a 5 star hotel worthy of the W brand name... Marriott should take this property off their website... it's a total joke... Completely unorganized and rude staff... no room service, restaurant on rooftop told us the kitchen was out of service, gym and pool was also closed .... So basically we had zero amenities... would have been better off at an Airbnb.... This hotel is part of a residential condo building so the valet and restaurant and other amenities are not provided by the hotel so they have ZERO quality control.... Valet extremely rude and ghetto and they are not Marriott staff.... So they don't care about their customers experience .... Felt like a nightmare .... Do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere .... We checked out early and will be requesting a refund

I start with the good things and that's only the area and location where this Hotel is. The rest is definitely not worth it. Unfriendly rude Stuff by the front desk and in the restaurant in the 15th floor too. The whole stuff also seems very bored and not really motivated to make a good service with a smile. The whole Hotel is absolutely overpriced and not worth to stay there. Not a great experience. Never again.

If you want even average service or accommodations stay somewhere else. No hangers in the closet, no ice available for in room. Called and requested ice and hangers, they never came. Wall paper pealing off of the walls, toilet didn't flush. The curtains don't seal out the city street lights or morning sun. Coffee shop in lobby sold my pastry to someone else and then gave us spoiled half and half. Stay at a holiday inn if you want a better place.
Be the first to ReplyGreat service.
The pool is also top notch. The room was clean and the view was stunning. Although not the best W worldwide, definitely among the top ones within the USA. Great location close to top restaurants on Brickell Ave, and a 15 min drive to Miami Beach.
Be the first to ReplyBy all means DO NOT stay at this hotel.
I travel constantly. This property is BY FAR the most disorganized, user unfriendly, nickel-and-dime establishment I have ever had the displeasure of staying in. THE LOWDOWN: The W shares the footprint with a high rise condo complex. It appears that the W has no actual ownership of the building. This means that they are a tenant and have no say in any of the workings within the establishment. This makes the guest a total afterthought Here are a few of the issues: VALET: the valet has nothing to do with the hotel. You can not put the expensive overnight fee on your room. When you pay, you are forced to go to a single credit card payment machine. The machine hardly works and the line is long. The driveway is in total chaos, it's always backed up and there is constant honking (well into the night) People cut each other off trying to get in and out of the valet area. Finally, there is a rule that you can only leave your car in the driveway for 10 minutes before they take it away. This means that if you need to check in... then run back out for a meeting, valets insist that they park your car, then force you to wait 30 minutes for it to be fetched again. Not only did we experience this, but two other people did at the exact same time. People were literally screaming at the dismissive valets. FOOD AND BEVERAGE Even though the restaraunt and bar are in the upper lobby, they have nothing to do with the hotel. This means NO room charges, a $7.00 cup of coffee paid with a separate credit card, ZERO room service. Oh and the hotel generously provides you with a $20 credit to use. But don't try to use it at the pool, the bar, the restaurant, the valet, or anywhere other than your hotel mini bar. So, for my credit I grabbed a small $18 small bag of cashews. How benevolent of them. POOL/SPA/GYM These are all shared spaces. NONE ARE PROPRIETARY TO THE HOTEL. Upon entering the pool, the guard asks for your room number and takes forever to "verify" you before putting a plastic wristband on you (think the lowest of a budget cruise ship), The pool closes at 7pm. Guards make the rounds literally whistling at people shouting for them to leave the area. If you want access the gym and spa from the hotel, you must A) take the hotel elevator to the fifteenth floor B) get a wrist band at the pool C) walk close to five minutes to another building and through a hidden door. D) Take a separate elevator down a floor E) walk through a maze only to be interrogated by another guard insisting on your room number. For admittance. Finally, you can get your workout in. BUT Don't make the mistake of working out past 7pm (even though the spa is open til 10) BECAUSE The hotel locks all the reentry doors back into the property. So you either have to hop a wall and cut through the bar (as I did) OR as my colleague experienced, you are forced to exit through an unmarked door, get locked in a stairwell and walk down fifteen flights of metal stairs. This lets you out at the garage and you must then navigate your way back to the main entrance of the hotel property. ROOM QUALITY AND EFFICIENCY If you are traveling with family or colleagues and you are on different floors, you will NOT be able to meet them on their floor because the key cards ONLY work for the floor you are on. So to meet up, you must go to the top floor, then they have to let you into their floor. My king room appears to have once been quite nice. Sadly, the shower door would not close properly, the water pressure was low and the toilet paper holder was loose, falling off the wall. My room was situated on the valet side of the building so I was perpetually bombarded by horns blowing eternally, as drivers were angry, and caught up in the bottle neck. Bottom line, this property is shameful. The Marriott organization should be ashamed for allowing this location to operate. It is by far, one of the worst large city hotels I have ever stayed in. I leave tomorrow, and cannot wait to evacuate this property. Good riddance.

Be the first to ReplyWe arrived at the W and were disappointed to learn there
We arrived at the W and were disappointed to learn there was a problem with our reservation. The front desk (more like back alley) person, a failed cloning experiment of Kim Kardashian, we hostile, rule, and extremely unhelpful. She refused to offer any help for adding a second night to the reservation. It wasn't for lack of rooms it was simply willfully poor attitude and a complete lack of service. The room itself was nice, a King, Corner suite. It lacked some ammenties for a suite in general. The person who "helped" us gave a the lowest floor with no view, clearly a deliberate action. Miami depends on tourism, this hotel is getting dated. They would do well to evalulate their employees and to elminate the underperformers, the lazy, and the rude. I'd recommend avoiding this place enitrely.

W Miami Brickell has one of the best hotel pools I've ever had the pleasure of using. Although residents and guests of Icon Condos (located in the same complex as the W hotel) share the pool, it's more than big enough to accommodate everyone. We were also given a gigantic suite based on a complimentary upgrade. I think it was called the marvelous suite? Anyways, the suite had a massive balcony overlooking the Brickell drawbridge and Miami River. They only downside is that there's quite a bit of street noise at night so this hotel is definitely not for light sleepers. N is

This W property is located in the heart of Brickell in Miami. On the day of check-in, we were notified that our room was given away even though we reserved the specific room category and type weeks in advance. I was disappointed as we were celebrating our 7 year anniversary in Miami I wanted to enjoy our stay. The room we received was not thoroughly cleaned and there were personal items from the prior guest left behind. The towels were dingy and had holes while the robes were tattered, torn and shredded. The best things about this property was the location and the pool. Overall, I am disappointed with the experience, and would not recommend or stay at this property again.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible customer service.
Unhelpful. Unethical. Unclear. It's a micky mouse operation. Also, not understanding - management just doesn't care about the wellbeing of their customers at all. I do not recommend this hotel and highly encourage you to go elsewhere instead of paying $800 to be disrespected.

At $540 a night (wtf?) you're better off in an airbnb with zero amenities. Stayed in 908. SO MUCH STREET NOISE. Zero peace. Wallpaper peeling off, broken dresser, lamp with a broken shade, flickering creepy bathroom sconces with an obvious wiring issue. I had to ask the staff on day 1 of our stay to clean off about an inch of dust from the bathroom fan. Looked like a fur-creature living on the bathroom ceiling. Ugh. And that's just regarding the crappy outdated king room. Firstly: The W doesn't even own the pool or spa they so brazenly advertise. W guests are forbidden on the pool deck after sunset! Found out the hard way guests are also not allowed to simply carry luggage across the pool area to the spa EVEN if you're still paying ($400 for 2 massages) for the spa services. Lest we forget the absolutely psycho of a towel guy who literally screamed at my husband & me when we were making our way peacefully to our massages due to said UNWRITTEN zero-signage baggage rule. He also told us to SHUT UP when we told him we were just going to the spa. Fun/peaceful vibes right? No. Naturally I asked the W staff what the problem is with the shitty staff at the pool deck, and the W staff pawned off ALL blame onto a company called Icon (the actual owners of the pool/spa) What in the hell? Don't waste your hard earned $. This whole place needs a serious renovation and the perfume in the lobby almost choked my husband and me. Stay somewhere else.
Be the first to ReplyI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the W hotel in Miami.
Upon arriving, they gave me a master suite with a balcony and two bathrooms. The view was absolutely incredible of the water. The cleaning service was very high quality and I loved the rooftop pool. I swear I would stay here again just for the views you can get of Brickell and Brickell key from the top of the W hotel. Overall, great service, comfortable bed, and impeccable views. Would give this place a higher than five star rating if I could.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing, not worth the money I've stayed here 3-4
Disappointing, not worth the money I've stayed here 3-4 times a year for the past few years, and it is disappointing to say the least. This hotel should be downgraded from a 5 star. They frequently overbook, leading to no punctual check ins (I was let into my room 1.5 hours after check in)They also took 3 hours to bring up our bags, lost one, and never answered the phone. I had to take 3x for toiletries (came a day later.)A man visiting from abroad who had pre paid checking out was charged twice. The front desk attendant gave an explanation that was so ludicrous it was hard to watch. Food takes one hour minimum to get to the adddikt restaurant (note it's clear management is understaffing, the people working there and for the most part at the hotel are warm and kind but being run ragged.) They didn't have bloody Marys or mimosas (???) Finally, good luck getting service at the pool deck. We were there for 3 hours and didn't have one person check in. I spent 1000/night for 2 star service. I'm sure they'll reply with a generic "we're so sorry and we've passed it along to the appropriate teams" which does nothing. As a titanium elite bonvoy member, will not stay here again. Cap of the trip- valet yelling at us to move as we loaded our bags (of course did not offer to help at all.)

Stay somewhere else!!!!!, this hotel shouldn't be called a 5 stars hotelcustomer service is horrible. I had to cancel my reservation at arrival because they wouldn't give me the room I requested and I had my 2 little kids with me. I ended up going to the Ritz.

You can't miss this buildingDriving by the first thing you notice is the beautifully sculptured heads looking as if their holding the building.Pulling up there are 2 different valets. One for the hotel side the other for residents. I think this is important to know because when I pulled up there were lots of.cars behind me and Intried to be courteous and pull up more sonwe could all be taken care of. It was then I was told I was in front of the residential side and asked to go back around. I didn't think this was a good first impression but the manager of the valet happened to be there and ran over and actually tookmcare 9f ke and told me it wasn't a problem. That was nice but still kinda rubbed me the wrong way. I came by on Sunday and checked it out. The pool area on the 15th floor was huge, not deep and there were 2 restaurants, art displays, cool light animal sculptures, etc. Not to mention the rooftop views of the ocean and Miami river. It was really beautiful and windy. There also was a spacious gym, entertainment area, a spa and my favorite, a water lounge. The water lounge had views of the ocean and access to the spa. There were 3 different tugs. Two were different heat temperatures and the third was a cold one. There were dark book shelves against the wall with only.white book.coverings. Place is tre chic and absolutely fabulous. Downstairs had a Panther coffee and loved how this option of coffee was available in the building. The rooms were adorable with the river views. Dark decor with classic furniture pieces. Coffee and tea maker and mini fridge. Private shower but open bath that looks directly to the bed...ooh la laEverything was really nice. ai even walked around back and saw lots of action as there were 2 more restaurants. A slightly nautical true Italian restaurant and a popping Mexican restaurant. You still have those ocean views and plenty of people.just walking around. There's lots to do in this area and it's at a great location. Not to mention there is a memorial for the native Indian bones found near the property..respect!Area is great and close to much so a stay here is a great for sunny mornings, boat ride afternoons, and luxury dining in the evening.

I've stayed at W hotels in other cities as well as at brands like St Regis, the Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Ritz, etc. and I rate the W Miami 5 stars. Great location, room, and staff. Check in was a little busy so they asked us to relax in the lobby, business center, and bar while our room was getting ready; we probably waited around 15 minutes. Wonderfully large beach view suite with huge bathroom, and the staff person (Majd) who helped us with everything from restaurant reservations to shopping tips at the Goyard store was so awesome. We hit the private access beach two to three times a day. And they even surprised us with a Hello Kitty chocolate dessert delivered to our room! Surprised at the 3 star average on here -- We will be coming back at least once a year.

I stayed at your hotel over memorial wknd, and i have never experienced such bad experience. Please keep in mind I was proposing to my gf over this wknd, and had asked beforehand, as well as during check in, any special accomadation would be appreciated. However it was quite the opposite, since I was checked in to a completely dirty and unclean room #403. The bathroom had pubic and shaved hair all over it, and the bathroom was not stocked at all. After speaking to the front desk, I was forced to move to a different room #503. While this room was clean, nothing was stocked in the room once again, no bathroom amenities and no coffee pods. I called and chatted 3 different times until the supplies where sent up. I have never experienced such a horrible stay for a 5 star rated hotel. All i got after complaining during check out was a simple apology, which was quite obsurd after spending so many of my bonvoy points here.
Be the first to ReplyI can't say enough good things about the W Miami.
The amenities, staff, and location are exactly what you're looking for in any stay where you're home away from home. This is the only place I'll stay when in Miami.

We had a great experience at the hotel until it was time to check out. The service was great from the front desk staff to the wait staff by the pool. Everyone was helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and the balcony was convenient and a great place to relax. My family had a great time until we packed up everything and went downstairs to check out. While in the line to check out I realized I left my very expensive engagement ring in the room in the white tray on the desk...pretty secure place while you are in the room...or so I thought. Upon returning to the room after being out for 5-8 minutes tops housekeeping had already came in swept the room and stole the ring. I'm praying for a happy ending to this story and one of the accused turns it in but the violation of someone stealing something so important and personal is horrible. I've never had anything stolen from me at a hotel and I am extremely sad and furious that one of there staff members had the gaul to steal from a guest and lie to my face about the theft. I will never stay here again. Anyone with valuables should stay clear from this place because there is a dishonest thief amongst the cleaning staff.
Be the first to ReplyAs a frequent travel, I have never received the awful
As a frequent travel, I have never received the awful treatment I received at W Miami. It was so upsetting on so many levels. I will stick to the objective first, then get into what felt extremely personal. Check-in was supposed to be at 4:00 PM EST. It occurred well after 5:30 PM EST. There was no sense of urgency from the staff at all whatsoever. There where some empty apologies however and a definite empty promise to provide a $100 credit for myself and my partner to enjoy due to the inconvenience. I will get back to that later...As we waited quite a long time (over 1.5 hours as I noted above), we were taken to the bar, told our drinks would be compensated. Instructed to enjoy the property, tour it and relax, until our room could be prepared. We tried - I promise. We were stopped by pool staff, told we needed a wristband (you need a room key to gain access, we had no room key, as we had no room), we went back to lobby to talk with the hotel concierge staff, we were told we did not need a wristband just a room key, which they could assign without a room. They did. We went back up to the bar and pool to try to enjoy and make the best of things. We were once again accosted and harassed this time by hotel security about this wristband. We explained to security that we had room keys and were told this was all we needed by the concierge staff (apparently no one talks to each other). He did not want to hear us, he insisted on escorting us off the pool grounds to get a wristband. The look on my partner's face haunted me the entire trip, he was so upset and I heard him whisper how embarrassed and humiliated he felt (we are Brown people), everyone was staring as we were policed again and again. It was so upsetting. Staff (Sanjit) was apologetic, let us know our room was ready, informed us we would be compensated $100 credit to the bar for our troubles and we should charge services to our room. He leaves us, we go to the room and await our things, which he says will be sent along shortly. We arrive to a room that is in complete disarray. There are half-consumed and empty water bottles on the desk, empty snack wrappers, the bedroom is worse, as the bed is in complete wreck, sheets and blanket bundled up all together, clearly used and visibly soiled, there are soiled sheets on the desk in the bedroom as well, the bathroom is a complete mess, towels on the floor, garbage in the bins, some type of suggestive (paraphrenalia) in the sink. It was so upsetting and overwhelming. We called about the issues and the manager (Michelle) came up, not sure if this was coincidence or what, she had our belongings and we immediately asked her to come in to witness all that we noted. At this point, I am looking at my partner who I planned this romantic getaway for Valentine's Day, as it was his first trip to Miami, and he looks so upset. I will never forget it. I get overwhelmed and begin tearing up. It was bad.We were again led out of the room. Given another empty apology, led once more to the bar and told we would have compensated drinks or bar food, etc. My partner was so upset and frustrated he wanted nothing to do with anything - only to have our room prepared so we could get food and rest, we had been traveling since 6 AM. Another hotel staff (Sanjit) came to us, apologized as he had led us to the wrong room (not his fault), we were led to the correct room, he walked with us and came in to ensure all was well. Great right - the nightmare is over - right? No, very wrong. He notes the thing about the $100 credit to be used anytime on our room and gives us his cell should any further issues arise. My partner in all the fray thought he lost his backpack, which held my laptop in it. I texted, he responded, turns out this was just in our rental car. All good. Nope!Anytime we went to take the rental car out it took over 30 minutes . Once it took about 40-45 minutes. Other days who knows when the car was coming or placed for us to take out, it was like a big secret, as the staff never updated the text messages to let you know the car was there if you did not stand waiting 20, 30, 40 minutes outside watching for it, you just came downstairs and hoped it would be there. It costs like $50+ tips per night to park at the property. Our last day there, I reviewed the bill and noticed everything we charged to the room (~$60 worth of drinks + tips) was billed to us and not compensated. I texted Sanjit, he CONFIRMED that it would be fixed at checkout. We checked out and I told this to the woman at the concierge desk, another staff (a male) person seemed to overhear me saying this and whispered something to her. I have no idea what it was but I know when I reviewed the new bill (sent via email) those charges remained. I was and remain absolutely FURIOUS. We were treated so poorly, with no recognition of our humanity, like we did not matter. We rented a suite, spent over 3K, we were treated like they were housing us as a last minute favor.

Outdated hotel, rooms feel old and definitely not worth the money. We've stayed at multiple W properties and this Brickell location is disgrace to the brand. Our cable TV did not work our entire three night stay. After sending an engineer to the room to check it out they advised the cloudy weather was causing the satellite to not get signal. Later in the evening I inquired again as the weather was clear and sunny and still no signal. Only after asking to speak with the manager did he admit there was a problem with our room and offered to change rooms. We did not take the offer to switch rooms as we didn't want to pack up and move for one last night. No house keeping service until o spoke with the manager. Ordered in-room dining and took an hour and 40 minutes to receive our food. Overall it was not a enjoyable experience. We could have stayed anywhere nearby for a quarter of the cost of this property and had a better experience.
