This place had some issues, both Covid and non-Covid related. But overall, it was definitely a 5 star experience. The location is what makes this place for me. Right in the middle of the strip, but the hotel is hidden in a bit of a bowl. It is like being on the Strip without dealing with all the people. Nice and quiet. No casino, but very easy to get to Aria and Cosmopolitan, among others. The common areas are pretty typical of Waldorf, lots of dark wood and marble. You have to go up to the reception area from valet, separate elevators for room and hotel entrance. Always weird having to switch elevators. Nice area for afternoon tea and a bar with a legit view of the Strip. We liked the spa, but no hot tub or sauna, etc due to Covid. Pool looked nice and was pretty empty. As with the areas, the room is typical Waldorf, 5 star quality. Super comfortable bed. Good size, all the amenities. Service was very good, from reception to bar to spa. The valet was a man from NY and he was incredibly helpful with the family. For value, Waldorf ain't cheap, in either dollars or points. I think it's worth it, and I am a bit of a Hilton guy, but there are so many options in Vegas that are pretty close in quality but much lower prices that its hard to recommend. That, and I don't want anyone else ruining it.
