Well, it's been over four years since my last visit when I was left in a meh mood by their generic urban bistro fare. But alas, they've changed course to a Peking duck purveyor, and this time, it worked. Now that redirection changed the price point because half a Peking Duck cost $48. No surprise but definitely a commitment for a solitary diner. I was ready to take the plunge though. It came all sliced up with the crispy skin attached to each piece (photo: https://yelp.to/IZrXzw_omU). It came accompanied by thin pancakes, green onions, cucumber spears, and thick hoisin sauce they simply refer to as 'paste'. It was quite the delicious treat. Since man can't live on duck alone, I had the $12 Avocado Salad which was almost as rich as the duck (photo: https://yelp.to/qzmchcm-vk). Hope the duck stays. FOOD - 4 stars...yum, duck AMBIANCE - 4 stars...still maintained its modern design SERVICE - 3.5 stars...not overly friendly but efficient TOTAL - 4 stars...smart move to focus on duck RELATED - Exploring Chinatown?
