This place is hard to find but when you find it trust me it is definetly worth exploring into the remote area it's located. The best part was the sit down experience where you can sit down and eat like a traditional place, and the taste is very authentic, my faviorite was the chapli kabob. THe view of Dubai is nice from this restaurant as well.

The food is excellent, though a bit pricier than what you might find elsewhere in Deira. The portions are immense, and the service is quick and friendly. Location is easy to find, and if you're doing business in Deira it couldn't be more convenient. However, I do feel obligated to report that a fistfight broke out in the kitchen toward the end of my meal. The manager and staff did their best to conceal it by closing the kitchen window. So that's good. Otherwise, a perfectly delightful spot for a meal.
Be the first to ReplyCheap but not good for me
I went there in the evening of Nov. 3, 2016. I knew of this place because I came across it in some websites as one of the best cheap eats in Dubai. The menu was not very appealing and after 10-15 minutes' deliberation, I ordered "Chicken buryani". The portion was certainly huge and they also gave you soup and salads. It didn't look good and there was nothing spectacular about the taste either. But it certainly was cheap. With a can of orange soda, the total was only 17 AED. ( Maybe, I should have ordered a stack of naans with lamb stews as some websites had suggested ... which I had forgot that night and only read that later. )
Be the first to ReplyGood place for Afghan foods
This restaurant has been suggested in Lonely Planet as a good place for authentic Afghan cuisine. I went there with a friend and we really enjoy the foods. Grilled lamb chop on skewer is a must. The meat is well cooked and soft. Mutton Karahi which is a kind of stew is also good. The mutton is slowly cooked so it's soft and very tasty. This is a simple restaurant where you come to enjoy food not for good atmosphere. You can choose table and chairs or sit and eat on the floor in Afghan traditional way.

If you are exploring Deira and feel hungry stop by at this great Afghan restaurant in Naif, it is located near the Al Ghurair Mosque. The place has two sections, one with traditional majlis to sit on (you sit with crossed legs on a raised carpet and the food is in the middle) and chairs and tables. The trafitional ones are often taken by the locals and the place can get crowded in the evening. I did not notice many tourist there and the place was filled with many local guests which is usually a sign for good traditional food. The staff is friendly and helpful, but a lot of them don´t speak english. The waiters are anxious to clean the tables quickly but when the place is busy they are running a bit behind. The standard is middle to lower class but if oyu can live with it you will experience great food. The food is amazing, delicious and very tasty. They have a variety of Kabab and Polaw. I had Kabab of Lamb, beef and chicken and must admit it was better than expected. The meet was soft and very good. The traditional bread to it was fresh and good as well. The waiters are very friendly and as the area is not the most touristic it is more a place for the real traveller. Great value for little money. As often, don´t look at the kitchen but the place didn´t give me any stomach problems. Very good and to be recommended.

I think it was hard to find plus their rice dish(qabili) was not that good. Lamb chops were so so too. I've had much better.
