Shocking service
The food was great but the waitress lost my credit card for 15 min and couldn’t be bothered to look for it. It wasn’t after the manager came to look for it that they found it. I’ve been to 100s of restaurants and never saw something like this. Very disappointing.
Be the first to ReplyIf you want to eat sushi, zuma is a sure thing
The level is slightly lower than that of Rome, identical menu, slightly lower prices. The quality remains excellent. I'd say an 8

Lots of hype & it lived up to it. Cocktails & food dishes were excellent. We chose not to go the sushi route because there is a lot of excellent sushi in Vegas but instead focused on prepared seafood. Food we loved: prawn and black cod gyoza, hamachi sashimi with green chile, robata scallop, skirt steak with shiso chimichurri. Cocktails we loved: Chili Passion Fruit Margarita and Zuma Mai Tai. Would go back!

Today went again at Zuma and met Zin.Shes so far the best server we met.She spent a time with us while we are waiting for the food and entertain us while we are staying in the restaurant. Also my friend Olsi is paying for my dessert today!! He’s so sweet and friendly and he with Zin made our night wonderful!! Also the cooks and chefs -photos added- did their best to cook and they made delicious meals for us!

Unbelievable food and service, hands down the best meal we had in Vegas!! Every dish we had was just amazing just like the London one. Definitely recommend visiting when in Vegas

Food, service & atmosphere was not impeccable. Second time here and better than the first. Best Japanese cuisine by a mile.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful meal at Zuma
Really enjoyed dinner here. Ordered the signature tasting menu. Almost all the dishes were really good. The fried popcorn shrimp were oily however. My only complaint is the service was very fast paced. Too many dishes served at once. Dishes were cleared the moment the last bite was taken. Pace not appropriate for a fine dining restaurant. Atmosphere is lively and restaurant space is beautiful.
Be the first to ReplyDO NOT BOOK HERE, YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED - UNPROFESSIONAL FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF!!!
If only I could give 0 star, this place does not warrant any star. I have been to many Zuma locations and I can honestly say Zuma - Las Vegas is so bad! The people that work here definitely don’t represent this brand at all. They need more training in customer service and failing that then replacing. The front of house staff are unprofessional and really rude. When you walk into this restaurant there is a really bad and unwelcoming atmosphere! We was surprised to be able to book a table on the same day (Sat 9th Sep at 7:30pm) and to be fair they had a lot of times available which is usually concerning as on a weekend they should be fully booked. My local Zuma in London this would not be possible as you need to book well in advance. We arrived at 7:25pm and was told our table is getting prepared and told to wait aside. It would have been nice to be offered the bar to have a pre-dinner drink. It was now 7:40pm and I went to the front of house desk, spoke to a really obnoxious lady (blonde haired) and asked for an update on our table. Her relpy was “ you arrived at 7:20 you have only been waiting 7 minutes!”. Then she continued to tap away on her iPad. She couldn’t even get her times right and I couldn’t be bothered arguing with her and using up my energy! She definitely wasn’t fit for purpose and maybe pot washer would have been a better role for this horrible employee. I didn’t appreciate being spoken to like that so we left and went somewhere else. The funny thing is 30 min after we left we got a text message from Zuma saying our table is almost ready. So had we stayed and waited our table would have been over 40 min late. How disgusting is that?! If it was the other way round and we was late for our table they would have given our table to someone else! The staff definitely need to see how London and Mykonos treat their dinners, there is no comparison! These locations would put Zuma - Las Vegas to shame! I would be mortified if my staff was running my business like this, thank god they don’t! I wound not recommend this location. There are so many great restaurants in Las Vegas, so give Zuma - Las Vegas a big pass to avoid disappointment!

Fun cocktails, endless tasty dishes, a loud party vibe in this restaurant. Husband has been to a few others in the chain and says they never fail to impress.
Be the first to ReplyI dropped in looking to ge a lobster roll.
I googled Lobster Roll while in Vegas with a buddy of mine and this came up. When we go there the place looked nice, perhaps too nice for a simple lobster roll. The waitress explained they had not had lobster rolls for several years. I guess Mr Google didn't get the message. Any way we both ordered, he go jambalaya and I got crab cakes with a side of brussel sprouts. All of the food was delicious, though I'll have to say you didn't get much crab cakes for the price. The beer selection was quite limited but never the less adequate. The service was excellent. I would go there again.
Be the first to ReplyReally yummy
We came here end of night and had their calamari which was delicious and not overly breaded or fried. Loved the jalapenos with it. We then got the super fancy roll and it was really really good.
Be the first to ReplyAwful awful awful.....
2am and I couldn't sleep and realized it was because I was so upset by our dinner here. Where to begin. First and foremost, we specified that my son had a peanut allergy both on the reservation and in person with our server. When the dessert came, we asked again just in case and lo and behold, there was an item with peanuts in it that noone told us about until we asked. Very dangerous and very careless of them!!! Infuriatingly so, given the well known dangers of peanut allergies. Secondly, after spending 200+ per person, we all left hungry and unsatisfied. To clarify, my husband and I came here last year for omakase and we loved it and raved about it. We brought our kids and a friend and her son this year to enjoy the experience with us. The quality of the food is good but the quantity and portion control was just awful. For example, Last year sushi sashimi course, 2 slices 2 pieces per person. This year was 1 slice 1 sushi per person. Last year, two of us shared a large peice of black cod. This year, SIX of us shared 2 peices about the same size. Same thing with the rib eye steak. 6 people sharing a tiny portion when last year, 2 of us shared a slightly smaller portion. Truffle mushroom course was made and served in the same size pot and same total portion for 2 people last year as 6 people this year. And so on and so on. They have INCREASED their prices but DECREASED their portions. What a rip off. Timing of the courses was all over the place as well. Some courses came out fast and all together and then there were long periods of time between other courses. It was a good 20 to 25 mins before we got our last dessert course. Bizarre. Icing on the cake...... I specified that we were there to celebrate a birthday and they completely did nothing. No birthday message whatsoever. Whatever. We were already displeased by the time we got the check only to find out they charged us $6 plus another $6 for the one sprite my son ordered. We had asked for a "refill" on the skinny small glass of 90% ice and 10% sprite he got, and got charged $6 for it. Honestly??? The food was good but no matter how good, when you leave hungry after spending 200+ per person, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I can see that the owners managers don't really even care about their customers bc they haven't responded to any of the negative reviews on here. I doubt they'll see or care about this but needed to warn everyone. Such a disappointment.

Price does not meet the value. Sushi - tried 3 rolls (rating: 6 out of 10), Signature Ribeye (rating: 5 out of 10), Service (rating 10 out of 10).
Be the first to ReplyBad Experience
Have been going to Zuma ever since they opened and the food is always great but each time i go the exeperience seems to worsen. They over book so the kitchen is always slammed and the food just comes out when they feel like it and there is no flow or rhythm with the courses anymore . on this occasion all out hot food came before our starters then we had some lovely rice delivered to the table but with nothing to go with it I would always go back but the management her really need to get a grip on service and make sure the experience matches the food.

Lovely atmosphere, amazing choices of food, staff very good and helpful. Definitely need to pre book to get a table.

Interesting wine selection from small producers, had the omakase tasting menu … Surely a nice experience, quite pricey but hey, this is Las Vegas …

Perfect Dinner with Love I would recommend the premium menu omakase. The best cocktail: Mexican Zombie Service: perfect

We stayed at the Zuma last week on the 4th of July weekend, I've been trying to get a table there for the last 3 times in Vegas, and finally managed to get one, therefor was really excited and looked forward for this one. After a quick glance at the menu, we decided to go with the tasting menu, we were told it would be 5 courses meals with about 15 dishes. The dishes were ok, some stood out more than the others, but as expected from a Zuma name branded restaurant. The food was coming way too fast, the feeling was like they were trying to make you eat and leave, and turnover the table to the next guests, how fast was it? You would get 3 dishes, before even finishin one or two you would get 3 more, and 2 more, until we figured this out and asked the waiter to stop and slow down, we found ourselves eating the meat dishes cold. My recommendation: be attentive to the pace and ask the waiter to try not to go super speed, especially in smaller groups. Service wise, from the waiters it was okay. some dishes were taken too fast before we were done with, some right in time, some were misplaces and we had water spilled on 1 of us from the bowl of ice of 1 of the dishes. Until then everything was still an okay experience we had enjoyed, at the end we asked to talk to a manager before paying in order to provide feedback for the restaurant to improve, something most of places accept and take with gratitude. 3 minutes later the manager was at our table and he approached us very aggressively, literally attacked us verbally and accused us that we do not want to pay the bills. Now come on, do your homework Mr. Manager, we are hotel guests for past 4 days, we have credit card as caution in the system, we attended the other restaurants in the hotel including Blue Ribbon and experience was fine there, did you really believe we intended to walk out without paying? Even after trying to explain you slowly and for 10 minutes, you didn't understand why we called you and after realizing you falsely accused us, and not only he didn't apologize but also the attitude didn't change and kept on being so hostile towards us. So Mr. Manager if your priority is not to create a great experience for your customers, not being attentive to them, not being caring, then even with the best food in the world (which it wasn't) it will not matter. I wouldn't let this manager run anything, let alone the Zuma Restaurant. To sum up, after expecting to dine at the Zuma Vegas for so long, I definitely not recommend you to eat there until a proper management is found for this branch, find a better place where you are wanted to spend your money at. BTW as a disclaimer, most of my reviews in Tripadvisor have been positive, if I did took the time to share a bad experience here there's a true reason behind it.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food - Ok Service - Horrible Management
TLDR; Good Food, Good Vibe, But don't complain! Let's start off by saying, the food is terrific. We took the Omakase, and most dishes were terrific. The best ones were the steak, shrimp & crab All fish dishes were also terrific. The worst one: Vegetable dish - inedible. (Which at the end of the meal, we were made aware we could have had changed. At the end, not when we literally left it uneaten) Which brings us to management. For a meal that costs 170 per person, we expect a certain level of experience. Some cons: * Food was served in a hurry, not taking into account the pace of the people dining. * Bowls that were chilling the food started leaking all over the table and diners. * Due to the pace, items like steak sticks were cold, and were re-heated, which ruined the dish. * Chilled dishes that were left on the table were left unchilled. This also ruined the dining experience. When we brought this to managements attention, things spiraled out of control. A person identified as a manager of the restaurant, accused us for not paying! We believe this was a loss in translation. However, the complains at this point were not heard, and the manager was on full defense. There are high expectations when you pay this much for a meal, and ruining the end of the experience did ruin the whole experience at the end of the day. So make sure not to complain, or you may be accused of something you didn't say!
Be the first to ReplyONE OF OUR VERY FAVORITE VEGAS RESTAURANTS
We live in Vegas full-time and have dinner on the Strip at least once a week. Zuma in The Cosmopolitan is one of our top favorites. It is a very beautiful restaurant, the staff is very professional and the food is superb. The portions are not large (which is fine by us) but they are superb. The cocktails are divine and my husband's favorite is the Burning History. The music is low enough that you can carry on a conversation. We have visited restaurants with wonderful food and music so loud you had to shout. We don't go back to those. We have never had a bad experience there.

Had a quick late dinner at Zuma while staying at the Cosmo and enjoyed everything!
Food was excellent, we had the black cod, spicy yellowtail roll and the chocolate lava cake.
Service was brilliant!
Bar dining was a delight!
We were able to snag 4 seats at the bar on a busy Friday night. Our server- LAUREN was awesome! She was attentive, friendly and even made me an off menu drink which I loved!! It was a cucumber type martini- excellent! We also had the Osaka spritzer & and a whiskey on the rocks. LAUREN gave us samples of this interesting Plantation Pineapple Rum which was also very good. For appetizers we enjoyed the edamame and the gyozas.
I would love to come back next time & try their sushi.
Awesome food and service!
The host was great and got us promptly seated although slightly early for reservations.
Wagyu beef was amazing, tender, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Three salts and dipping sauce added to the experience.
Shrimp appetizer with chili and lime zest was delicious. Unique flavor with good size serving for the price. Too many other foods to mention but all VERY good.
Baked potatoe, yes it made the list. It was amazing and had ingredients that enhanced the simple baked potato.
The service was outstanding. Each employee played a role in the wonderful experience. I’ll admit I’m a handful in a restaurant as I love to cook and have many questions. I loved that the staff knew a lot about the food but if they didn’t know something they went to find out. The education of staff added to the experience. The only thing that could have possible made this better was greeting the Chef to congratulate him on his meals!
I will be back and look forward to trying more dishes and drinks. Another smoked drink perhaps!
Everything was delicious
Such a comfortable, wonderful dining experience! We sat in oversized chairs at a large table for 4 and they brought us the tasting of everything special. We had steak, lobster, sushi, baked potato, and the dessert was a box of something for everyone!!
