I mean.
It was OK. Price to quantity wise I feel like mom and pop dumpling shops gives you a better bang for your buck. The soup dumplings were good but man soooo tiny. I could eat 6 trays without getting full. The cucumbers, red oil dumplings and the desse
We came during dinner time.
Waitlist is 2.5-3hrs. We ordered lychee martini at the bar while we wait for a table. We ordered cucumber salad, braised pork ribs, soy noodles salad, green beans, soup dumplings, and mango shaved ice. Food was very good and flavorful. I don't t
Overhyped? Possible? Delicious? Absolutely.
Love the layout and view you get of the back house process as you enter. Dumplings are top notch. Bit of a gripe with some of the prices on things like the Garlic Green Beans but other than that it's more than just a "destination" rest
The best food, every dish is delicious.
Service is great. Recommend to anyone visiting Seattle.

Best service, best food and best hospitality.
Little crowded, best places will always attract more crowd. Thanks for giving us the good experience.
We came for my so son's bday.
Our order was completely wrong (I'm thinking we got someone else's food). No one would help us out and bring correct food. Super frustrating!! Was not our fault we didn't recognize they brought wrong food out and no one would help us!

Always wanted to try this place, was able to on our trip to Seattle. Little bit of a wait but it was worth it! I have a shellfish allergy, our server made sure to let me know what was safe for me to order- some of the dumplings are steamed in the sam
It was just ok.
Food came out quickly but rather bland. Server was super friendly and engaging. Reservations are must. If not, brace yourself for a long wait. Very clean restaurant.
Food always hits the spot and is very consistent.
Sometimes it can feel a little overpriced and not as authentic as other restaurants. A must try is the rice cakes with chicken and their dessert menu.
Make sure you eat something before you go.
We had high expectations and had to wait for 90 minutes as it was Husky opening game so that was expected. Staff were excellent and well trained. We ordered 7 entrees and that's were the "excellence" ended. They all looked beautiful
Great service and reliable food.

great food and service! had a corner table which is preferable over aisle seating since it's quite busy
I stopped by Din Tai Fung to see what the hype is about.
I got the takeout for below dishes (price as of 8/30): - 2 Kurobuta pork buns ($8.5) - shredded kurobuta pork fried rice ($16) - Assam milk tea ($6) - 2 chocolate buns ($9) When I see the list of items and their prices, I feel that they're all

Been beee before, the food is amazing! The dumplings are the best!! Most dumpling places, the dough is too thick. It's thin and delicious plus the sauces are incredible.

Delicious
It's in a weird little spot (up a few escalators in a mall that's not really that busy), but once you sit down, you can get some really excellent food. Sure, it's a bit of a chain, but it was new to us - and we were extremely please wi
The food was amazing the the atmosphere was good.
It did have a very long line wait.. the lychee martinis are very good. But the severs didn't really check on us a lot and they took a while to bring out our plates
Everything we tried and we tried most of the menu was fabulous!
Awesome food, exceptional service and value. Waitress was very attentive and helpful in placing our order. Surprised we didnโt find this gem earlier and will definitely return.

Amazing XLB
Another great location for DTF. The food and service here is exceptional as always. The XLB and braised beef oodles will always be my favourite here. Definitely worth checking out when you're in the village!
For Chinese food, not recommend
Terrible food and terrible service. I think the chef is not Chinese. Very disappointed. I prefer give them 0 rate. Lots table there, still ask us wait. But I will try to others Chinese food later in Seattle and no more Din Tai Feng.
Mediocre
Honestly the experience could have been better. Went to the one in Taipei and it was absolutely delicious and I was having high expectations for this restaurant. Food was mediocre compared to my experience in Taiwan, but maybe its due to it being a S
