Lillie's Victorian Establishment New York Reviews from The Last Year
WOW WOW WOW! The restaurant it self is instagram worthy!
WOW WOW WOW! The restaurant it self is instagram worthy! The food was so fresh and delicious. We loved coming here before our broadway show. The charcuterie board was a must!!!
Do not come here looking for good service.
If you want to take cute pictures, sure. The French toast was delicious and perfectly fluffy. This place needs new management and staff. This is the worst service I've had in New York which is sad because the potential is there.

The decor is amazing, but I get what some are saying in comments. The club music does not match the decor. Even so, it does add to the ambiance. If I were to recommend anything, it would be to turn down the volume slightly. Our server was lovely. The food was really good, and the portion size was decent. I recommend giving this place a try.

From the moment you approach the door, Lillie's is absolutely stunning to explore. The floral arrangements throughout the entire restaurant were breathtaking and so fun to take photos with. The vintage touches throughout the restaurant brought so much charm to the space that it felt like you were stepping back in time a bit. We sat at the bar for a few cocktails before our show and were greeted by the most friendly, sweet bartender. We tried the OF martini and the How Soon is Now? cocktail. The OF martini tasted reminiscent of a creamsicle without being annoyingly sweet. How Soon is Now was a bit stronger, but still smooth. We enjoyed sitting by the bar, enjoying the views, and listening to the pop playlist they had playing in the background. Overall, Lillie's had a great midafternoon vibe. A great place to meet with friends and hang!

I love Lillies I would always come here for drinks with friends after work. This time I came for a dinner of 9 for a Birthday Dinner. Food was amazing, drinks even better. The server was very sweet but lacked a bit of more attention to our big party, we waited a while for us to be asked if we wanted more drinks, there was a guy there as well not sure what his role was, after we cut the birthday cake we asked for the check, prior to the check being dropped, I had just gotten a new drink, my friend paid the bill, and then less than 5 mins into the check being paid, the guy there basically kicked us, telling us we had to leave, l not even asking us anything meanwhile I still had most of my drink. I think it was pretty rude, I work restaurant industry as well and I don't think that's how paying customers should be treated. I always check the table to see if anyone still working on a drink. If you're coming with a big party make sure you leave before being told to leave. Besides that everything else was good.
Very limited menu.
Don't go before 11:30 if you want lunch. Pricey! 24. Cheeseburger brunch. Service was ok, very pretty , oldish but accessible somewhat....

Cannot speak as to the food, as my group and I decided to leave. My friend made reservation for the wrong time, so we were told by hostess that we can either eat at the bar or wait for a table. We agreed to eat at the bar, but no one took our order. The hostess was informed of this. I saw that there was a Resy available for a table 30 minutes later and signed up for it. I notified the hostess and attempted to confirm that a table would be ready in 30 minutes, but she told me that I can't just make a reservation while in the restaurant and that she "can't guarantee a spot for us at that time." (Which makes absolutely no sense. If someone walked in with that reservation, are you going to just turn them away?) The hostess asked my friend why we didn't want to wait as we were packing up and rolled her eyes at my friend when she answered that it was a waste of time since they were not taking our order and not willing to give us a table even with a reservation. Maybe apply some of the plastic flower budget to training your hostesses?
Unnecessary roughness.
What happened to this place. Me and two friends were enjoying a nice time at the bar after a day of shopping. While we were waiting for the check, one friend put her bag on the chair so she can use the bathroom. A man comes over and said he needed to seat 2 people at the bar. We told him we were getting the check, freeing up 3 seats shortly. He could not wait a second longer. He threw the bag on the floor, dragged the chair away and told us to get the fuck out. Complete shock. What kind of treatment is that?!?!?!?! We escalated to another manager accompanied by security to escort us out. At that point, it was getting out of hands while we were being bullied to leave in favor of 2 new customers who saw the circus act unfold and took off. I hope the management company that runs Lillie's Victorian will review the security tape and see how their staff mistreats customers. We were told the person's name was Jacob by the manager Jonathan. I will never bring friends or colleagues to this place ever again Zero rating if that was an option
It is beautifully decorated on the inside and the servers
It is beautifully decorated on the inside and the servers are so kind. However, the food and drinks were just mediocre and was honestly a bit disappointing. I came here previously last year and remember they had Korean short ribs that tasted pretty good, but I was sad to not see that on the menu this time around. The only dish I would recommend trying out of the ones we ordered was the fried Mac and Cheese. They were fried cubed pieces with Mac and cheese inside. In terms of the ambiance, there is no doubt this is a very Instagram worthy place, with beautiful decorations. However, there was a cockroach on the wall behind where we were sitting, but the staff was kind enough to move us to another table immediately.
This place is so cute.
The drinks are ok. The food is good. Great place for brunch with the girls.
Fantastic fancy
One of my favorite places to go to celebrate 🥳 🎉 staff is always on point and very kind. Music and food are the best parts of the ambiance.
Cute place with excellent service and decor!
We came here on my birthday because we saw the Instagram video of this restaurant being decorated in Bridgerton-themed decor. And it was… So cute with flowers from the ceiling and along the walls. It was adorable. I heard this restaurant is even cuter on holidays like Christmas, which I’ll be back to visit during Christmas time because I’ve seen some of the videos and this place is adorable. It’s in a great location and it has great energy inside. The drinks are delicious. I didn’t get a chance to try the food, but I definitely will next time. The staff took great care of us and it made our night even more enjoyable. Definitely would recommend!
Awesome, décor, service and food!
This is just a must visit when in New York, cannot explain in detail the atmosphere or décor, though like you have never experienced before, just amazing. Food was excellent as was the cocktails, and the service was efficient, friendly and fun. Great music and vibe, best time we have had in a restaurant in a long time that ticks all the boxes. We will be back again…And if you have not been, make a reservation and go.
Good spot
Good spot after a show. Very beautiful decor. Food was very tasty. Our entree was a generous portion. Make reservations.
Very unique!
Although the food is not that unique, the decor and atmosphere is. It's a relaxing place for just some drinks and appetizers, or a full meal. We had the chicken pot pie, mac and cheese and parpadelle. All were delicious... not fancy, but good. I had the Humphrey Bogart smoked whiskey drink; not to smokey but still a good drink. It's one block from the Gershwin Theatre to where we were going afterwards. Service was very good.
Solid and convenient
We wanted somewhere to eat before our show that was at least a little off the beaten path. Super fun ambiance, convenient to Broadway, solid food, fun drink menu. A good option if you need something close to the theaters but want to avoid Times Square.
Convenient location if seeing a show
Convenient to Times Square and Broadway for our evening’s entertainment. I saw lillies on Facebook and loved the look and decided to prebook before our trip used Resy very easy. Cocktails were great food was great the music and vibe were just right for the setting really enjoyed our visit. The thing that let me down was on the booking it asked if there were any special arrangements or mentions we went on my husbands 40th birthday so added that into the booking. (This was never mentioned and didn’t want to mention anything whilst there as it would spoil any surprise) I’m gutted this wasn’t picked up! I would have given a higher tip should this have been picked up and something special been done for my husband! A real let down sorry.
A cute bar
The venue and decor inside are beautiful. Apparently this is the second longest bar in new york and we only went in for a drink. The server was friendly. However we felt very disappointed as the draught Stella that was ordered was flat. We notified the server and he graciously re poured another one..but again this was no good. Please do go visit the bar..it is beautiful but perhaps take a miss on the draught Stella.
Very cute little place.
Good food, service was alright, but we were hoping to get our cocktails in teacups as advertised, instead coming in martini glasses.
Good Spot for Pre-Theater Meal
Geographically, Lillie’s is a good spot for theater dining. It’s right among the theaters, and we didn’t have a problem getting a table. Visually, Lillie’s is an interesting establishment. Lots to look at while you dine (large flowers waving on the ceiling, stained glass windows). Aurally, Lillie’s is less pleasant. There’s relatively loud piped-in music, which, with the high ceilings, made conversation with our server and across the table difficult. The food was fine. The prices are about what you’d expect in NYC for the quality. At the time we ate, we enjoyed the meal. (The duck breast was excellent.) It just wasn’t memorable. After we’d dined in other NYC restaurants for a week, most couldn’t remember what they’d had at Lillie’s. The service was cordial but a touch inattentive. We had to flag our server down to, for example, get more water.

Lillie's has amazing food, ambience, music, vibe, service
Lillie's has amazing food, ambience, music, vibe, service and DELICIOUS FOOD! If I could give them 100 stars, I would! I went to dinner with a group of five girlfriends and we had an absolute blast. It is the perfect place to get together with friends for drinks at the bar or a dinner. Such a wonderful comfortable, and fun environment. The flowers on the ceiling reflects the season. The service is sooo friendly and attentive. It's about a 6 minute walk from Times Square. I had the crispy red snapper with sweet potatoes, my friend had duck with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts, and we also had the Lillie's Fall Salad with arugula with fresh mozzarella salad which was divine. Don't stop there. We shared a bottle of champagne and had a cheesecake, crème brûlée, and chocolate cake. All mouthwatering and worth fighting over! Thank you to the team at lilies for such a wonderful experience and dinner.

Decided to come here during the winter & it was completely decked out in winter decor, made you feel like you were in a winter wonderland. The drinks were also on point as was the food, if you're looking for a yummy salad can't go wrong with the fig salad or if you want meat, the duck hits the spot. The waitress was very nice, just a little slow. Overall a good experience.
Went here the week after valentines.
Writing this now cause I genuinely wanted to forget the whole experience. Let's start with the service it was relatively busy but not busy enough to miss multiple items from our order till the very end even while reminding whoever passed by since our original server was no where to be found. Ambiance was one of the first things to make me even go to this place I expected a nice Victorian setting instead I was greeted with Penguins and Polar Bears (which was very cute to be honest) & pop music didn't really fit the mood I originally went there for but it wasn't that bad. Now, lastly the food. The brunch items were pretty good but the nail in coffin had to be the "Afternoon tea" please just go to Prince's tea house or any other location that offers "tea party" experience. From stale desserts/bread , flavorless finger sandwiches, and cheap tea (which we received at the very end) legitimately ruined my whole mood.

I recently visited Lilillies Victorian in Times Square, New York, a couple of days after Valentine's Day, and it was an experience I am eager to share. This restaurant is not just a place to eat; it's a visual journey that captivates from the moment you step in. The aesthetics of this place are nothing short of breathtaking. The restaurant is adorned with unique displays and artwork that hangs from every conceivable space, including the ceilings. This artistic ambiance adds a layer of enchantment to the dining experience, making each moment inside memorable. The decor, which seamlessly blends the Victorian vibe with modern flair, sets a perfect backdrop for a romantic dinner or a special celebration. The culinary experience was equally impressive. We were treated to a series of mocktails that were both inventive and refreshing, a delightful start to our meal. The Caesar salad, which I can confidently say was one of the best I've ever had, was the perfectprecursor to the main course. It was followed by calamari that was tender and perfectly seasoned, creating a flavor profile that was both bold and satisfying. The steak, our chosen main course, was a masterpiece of flavor. It was cooked to perfection, offering a melt-in-your-mouth texture that was richly enhanced by its seasoning. The sauce was soooo good!!!!! This dish alone would have made the visit worthwhile, but the cheesecake dessert that concluded our meal elevated the entire dining experience. It was creamy, decadent, and the perfect end to an extraordinary meal. Amazing experience that engaged all the senses. The combination of its stunning aesthetics, remarkable artwork, and a culinary journey that delighted with every course makes it a must-visit destination in Times Square. Whether you're a local or a visitor to New York, a meal at Lilys is an unforgettable experience that leaves you wanting to return for more.
Tati was attentive, and pleasant.
The drinks and food were outstanding. looking forward to my next visit!
Ambience was appealing and high end.
Great servers. A bit pricey but good overall. Have been here a couple of times and will come back to bring friends/family visiting the city

This place is so much fun! The decor is unique and creative! It is quite the escape inside. It is fun to sit at the bar in the middle because the seats have backs to them. You can eat at the bar but it is tight! I had a dirty martini that went down too quickly! I also ordered the chicken pit pie. It comes in a cast iron skillet. The pastry is cooked to perfection and has a beautiful presentation. The flavor is delightful, light and so delicious!! It was excellent comfort food and I ate it all!!!
Great location with great food.
Great location with great food. Suitable for vegetarians. Service area a great with friendly staff. Cocktails also great.
Night ruined by collapsing furniture
Been here previously so looked forward to our visit. Things didn't get off to a good start, when one of the tall chairs collapsed, luckily I wasn't injured. The staff made sure I was OK and quickly removed the damaged (wrecked) chair. This completely spoiled our night, the food was OK, a little greasy. Really upset by what happened and surprised that other chairs were very wobbly. Cancelled our next booking. The staff cancelled the charge on 2 of our dishes to compensate.
Lovely!
We couldn’t get a reservation for a time before our matinee, but decided to pop in anyway and we were able to sit at the bar. This place is a feast for the eyes! The drinks were good, the food was delicious. We weren’t rushed, the bartenders were nice, and it was a wonderful experience in our NYC day.
Happy we chose to have brunch here before our play
Our 1st time at the location on Times Square and we loved it. We sat at the bar for brunch because we didn’t have a reservation. Food, service and drinks were excellent. Pleasantly surprised how reasonable our bill was. Inside decor is all Victorian.
Won't give advertised price.
Good advertised proces and selection. However, was very off-putting when I got a bourbon pour, verified price, and then halfway through my drink was told it actually costs more. I asked if listed and verified price would be honored and was told no. Not how a business should be ran.
Great New York Bars
What an amazing venue. Stunning backdrop to enjoy food and drinks. Similar to Cafe En Seine in Dublin but better value. Really enjoyed the venue and staff were excellent
Beautifully decorated for the holidays!
We were able to visit while it was still decorated for Christmas. It was so lovely! Great bar staff and service. We enjoyed it so much we returned after our show, twice in one night!
Magical Holiday Restaurant
Went to the flatiron location for this restaurant on New Years Eve for a sole early dinner and drink. Wanted to try this after seeing it was voted one of the best decorated restaurants/bars in NYC for the holidays. This place did not disappoint! Had a truly magical experience from the aesthetics, bar experience, and food. Highly recommend for a sole or more intimate couple setting.
Really great experience!
The drinks are imaginative and STRONG! I loved the decor - over the top Christmas, but not on the tacky end of the scale. It must have taken a ton of hours to put it up. My understanding is they cycle the decor according to the season so don’t expect Christmas in July! For the creativity and quality of drinks it was well worth it.
