The food is spectacular but I really cherish this place because of the wonderful owners. This is a fun place to eat with views as amazing as the atmosphere. They also go above and beyond the extra mile with events I've seen hosted there. Chris and Kelly are fantastic people who run a fantastic restaurant! Been there many times and brought many people & will continue to do so!

Came here on a recommendation of a friend since we were visiting Temecula. We weren't too hungry so we ordered a couple things to share and try. The service was great, they let us sit next to the fireplace even though everyone else was in a different part of the restaurant. We ordered the calamari to start and then the Wham Bam Thank You Jam and the halibut with risotto. The server came back to let us know they were out of the halibut, so we ended up substituting the halibut for salmon. Calamari was good, like any other calamari you normally have. I thought the Wham Bam Thank You Jam was pretty cool, it's definitely on the sweeter side. It's also a very tall burger so we cut it up to make it easier to eat. I do wish it was a little spicier to help cut down on the sweetness of it. Lastly, when we got our Salmon dish, we were a bit confused. I've never had risotto but the rice looked plain as paper. There was the strawberry salsa on top, which was also very sweet and not as tangy as I thought it'd be? The salmon was cooked well, not overdone and dry. Towards the end of our meal we asked our server if this was risotto we had ordered and he apologized and said that there must have been a mix up with the kitchen. He took the plate back with him and when he came back, he comp'd our calamari for us! Maybe the salmon dish would have tasted better with the risotto but it wasn't really remarkable eating rice with strawberries and salmon. The best part of this restaurant is the view. You get to watch people walk around old town Temecula and during the night there are lights hung around the city that will light up! Also if you come during sunset hour, there is a great view near the fireplace. All in all, the service was great, they were super accommodating even though we asked to sit somewhere far. The view is great outside. Maybe if I had tried more stuff off the menu I could have found something I liked, but I didn't really care for any of the things I ordered.

I came in for dinner on a slow weekday.
There was one other couple in the restaurant. The server was polite. The food was good. I had the pasta with salmon. I recommend it. However, I would not come back. The entire dining experience felt rushed. If there was not enough time to order and enjoy the meal, the hostess should've mentioned that when asked. Stacking chairs and constantly reminding me to wrap it up while there's a fork in my hand, takes away from the experience. Ambiance is important, and this place did not have the vibe I expected from a rooftop restaurant.

The beer lines at this place need a good cleaning. It was awful. We had a menu and the waitress never even came to ask if we wanted to order. The smell of air freshener was overpowering. Never going back!

Despite my initial hope for improvement, my recent visit to Luke's on Front only reinforced my previous disappointment. Upon arrival, I found both the bar and dining area eerily empty, save for a solitary bartender and the kitchen staff. This stark emptiness spoke volumes, reflecting the failure of the management to address the concerns raised by other dissatisfied customers, and myself in my previous review and to cultivate an inviting atmosphere.

We always have the best service ever! The food is super awesome and I always recommend the charcuterie platter. The meatloaf is awesome as well. The owners are so nice and I appreciate that they are always onsite. The servers and other employees have always been so nice to me and my children. The ambience is amazing because you can pick an indoor or outdoor seat/table. I've been in the the accessible event room many times. They have a patio and outdoor fire pit. It's amazing and the view is incredible! Incredible wedding, birthday, anniversary, event meeting or other party is a must do. Incredible prices and service.

Lunch time beautiful weather, nice restaurant, outdoor dining area with heaters. Parked at the Old Town Garage parking garage and noticed the restaurant sign Lukes. Decided to come here for lunch we were not disappointed. Excellent service by Terra who not only was our server but also the bartender. My wife and son raved how delicious the drinks were flavorful and strong but not overwhelming. Food was tasty, portions match price of food. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Restaurant is on the 4th floor roof top, don't worry there is an elevator :) overall recommend this restaurant when visiting this beautiful city. cheers.
Had the "soup du juor" coconut, curry chicken veggie soup.
Turns out the soup was cool, barely warm, vegetables were crunchy, barely cooked. Soup was like raw. Awful. Made me actually sick. Sundried tomato mac and cheese had some sort or red sauce, no cheese or sundried tomatoes were found. It tasted like a packed powered mix was poured over top of cooked pasta. Whole meal was awful. Restaurant was empty. I won't be back...
A high spot for New Years Eve.
We went to Lukes on Front with a group of 16 friends for New Years Eve. There was a special menu offering choices in each portion of the menu. We were surprised and delighted to find a wide range of choices to please everyone. The food was delicious! All of the diners were happy with their choices and were still talking about it the next day. Best of all the service was outstanding. The waitstaff and the owner went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone going to Temecula.
Disappointing!
We haven't been to Luke's since before the pandemic, so this review update reflecting a recent visit was overdue. In this updated review, I'm trying to be as tactfully honest as possible. I had loved Luke's and am saddened that we now probably won't be back. The last time we were here (11/2019) was a 5-star experience. We had lovely evening ambiance and great seating by the fireplace on the corner overlooking Old Town. We also had a fabulous meal and fantastic server (who has since left). This time, it was a weekday mid-afternoon, still light out and although it was nice to look out at the mountains from the 4th floor outdoor vantage point, my view of the empty overgrown lot across the street was quite an eyesore (of course, I realize there's nothing Luke's can do about that!) We sat outside because the music inside was so loud. It was hot, but misters helped a lot. Our server was very pleasant and when I asked for a drink menu, she said they're still waiting for paper menus but she gave me a code to scan for the drink menu (beermenus.com)...not to be confused with the other scan code on the tabletop that instructs you to download yet another app for the regular menu (here a paper menu is also available, thank goodness). We never were able to access the drink menu, so we finally gave up and just had water! I ordered the Finney ribeye sandwich and my husband had a chicken sandwich. My ribeye was a thick cut, way overdone and hard to eat. The sandwich had a lot of meat in it, but I think a thinly sliced version would have been so much better. The chicken sandwich was delicious according to my husband! Although it didn't appear to be busy at all at this time of day, the wait was long to get our food. I see that many others have noted the same thing. I can't help but mention that in reading some 1 and 2 star Yelp reviews, owner Kelly C's responses made my jaw drop! I frankly got a much more negative view of Luke's management from her angry tone than I did from the actual negative reviews! I totally understand that an owner might get defensive when faced with criticism, but yikes, there's a way to approach a response that doesn't include arguing and slamming patrons on Yelp. And then I see a statement on their website (screenshot attached) explaining that: "Party's Above groups of 10 or more will be On ONE check due to customers impatience and bad yelp reviews. We tried for 8 years. We are not understaffed... Zelle. Cash. Venmo Exists Because we all have that Friend/ Family that ruined it for All ManKind" [capitalization, spelling and punctuation taken from exact quote] What?! Customers' expressing that understaffing seems to be a problem since they experienced long waits for drinks/food, is clearly a hot button. It makes me wonder how long this policy has been in effect, as we too had a long wait for our food with only a handful of tables occupied. There is a polite, customer-friendly way to express a one-check policy for large parties and this is clearly not it. Very sadly, this recent less-than-great experience, but more importantly, the overall attitude and approach of the owner/manager is a complete turn-off to Luke's for me.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
