Went there for lunch yesterday. It wasn't busy. They sat me down and then we waited and waited to order a drink.. ice tea asked for sugar never got it. Ordered, she got that wrong. The food was disgusting!!! The service was "NONE". You could not find the server at all. My recommendation is : DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY" here!! I paid $70 for no service and did not like the fact I gave her a tip for lack of service. The ambiance is zero its' too dark and dreary. Trust me I rate on the restaurants I go to. This was the worse place to go and eat at.

Very disappointing. On a business trip. Sitting at a bar and getting a good dinner makes my day being stuck onthe road most of the time. Instead, it just raised my blood pressure. Got the shrimp with Filet Minon upgrade at $30. The steak was chewy, and the shrimp was a joke. The teriyaki sauce tasted like it was added at the end out of a store-bought bottle. I let them know my concerns and they adjusted the bill, but that's not the point. The place is nice and bartenders are good, but it took too long to get the check. oh, the guy 2 seats down, look like he barley touched his meal, and didn't have it wrapped to go. It went into the garbage,

I'm sorry, I don't get the hype at all! The salad was brown and dried out, the chicken teriyaki was chewy as could be and the rice was almost rubbery, I can't explain it. The service was obnoxiously slow and my server came back WREAKING of cigarettes. The ambiance is decent and does have a nice hibachi style dining experience as well as booth seating. However, the food was not good. I actually felt sick after. I would not go again.

Excellent food and service! We reserved for a family birthday. The woman I spoke to on the phone to make the reservations was so nice! She was very professional as well as friendly and helpful! She suggested we could bring our own birthday cake which was a great idea. The next day we came for our dinner. We had a lovely, spacious table. Our server was patient with our chattering and delay in ordering. We ordered several apps and everyone had different meals. We were all very satisfied! Excellent food, fresh and delicious! Highly recommend! We will be back!

The restaurant is separated in to two sections, the table service and the loud hibachi side. The table service side is great as it isn't too loud and you can have a great conversation with your friends as you eat. If you want a show to go with dinner, because that is really the big reason to do Hibachi, then book a table at the hibachi, it is always worth it to try once! I am a bit disappointed at the quality of their cleanup as the floors have a slight slickness I assume from oils on the floor, though I have only really noticed this once in the quiet side and until I visit again, I will assume that it was a one-time thing and perhaps something spilled. The staff are nice and service is decent.

DO NOT EAT HERE! I found a RUSTY STAPLE in my salad (picture added). As if this was not bad enough my mom had literal GLASS in her hibachi rice so who knows who else ate glass. The glass for stuck in her gums and chipped her tooth. She had to go to the dentist and get x-rays and her tooth fix. Apparently Masa has been closed multiple times for health issues. Will never be eating here again it was a safety hazard. Luckily I spit the staple out but if it went into my cheek I could've gotten tetanus. Will be calling the health department as a rusty staple and glass in food is UNACCEPTABLE.

What a great find! I was staying at a hotel in the area, and there weren't a lot of great options, except the mall food court in walking distance, so I happened up on this place. I opted for sushi rather than the hibachi experience since I was eating alone. WOW was I impressed. the service was fantastic, and the quality of the sushi was spectacular. I really enjoyed the bay scallop sashimi, and their local custom roll - the Manchester! There was a great bar as well, with a full stock of anything you could imagine. The bartender made some interesting drinks for others (I wasn't partaking that evening). It was a high energy place, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and the food just as much as me. I would highly recommend this place I would go back!

I had a pleasant time the first time I came here. Came with a big group for hibachi, made a reservation but waited 40 additional minutes to be seated. The staff was very friendly, the food was good and the portion sizes were massive. I had a great time and enjoyed the food, I decided to order out the following week. I ordered fried rice and it was nothing like I had the week prior. The rice was more like white rice, it lacked any sort of flavor and the chicken was chewy. When I order fried rice I usually cannot stop eating, in this case I couldn’t even get myself to eat it, I was so disappointed. Unfortunately, I live 30 minutes away and was not going to drive back to the restaurant. I called Masa and expressed my disappointment. They informed me that the cook said that is how the food was supposed to be line. The manager ended up getting on the phone and I explained to her that the food was not good at all and I was extremely disappointed, they wanted me to drive back to the restaurant to show them the food and I told them I live 30 minutes away. They had me text them a photo to their personal phone of the food. In the end the manger gave me a “store credit” and told me the next time I go to give them my number and they will honor the amount. I have been back and they did honor that credit, I ordered hibachi for take out and it was very good. Reason why I am giving them 4 stars is I am happy that they did the right thing for a dissatisfied customer

I was not out home for year medically going home hospital. Saw neon sign baked lamb.never been there but love lamb. Excited as really late night. I'm hard hearing disabled. No eye contact from lady no attention rude .non personal not interested with me staying to eat as no lamb on sign.i asked her as it teased me to shut down for night. Rolled eyes .eat something here or leave . Never been there didn't try to sell me on other things. Asked what night next lamb special.didnt understand kept saying no lamb tonight. So asked what specials other nights on board future .she states no lamb. Ask for menu as never ate there had questions.she was gone went bar drank water asked question meal seafood there.she said brown sauce veggies stated allergic to brown sauce would like custom lemon garlic other sauce.no comes brown.let me talk to cook I know he will cook other save took home threw out after being homeless as brown sauce.lady should be fired no social sales skills .never eat there.gave me what allergic too had taki so lost 24$. The appetizers and role sections are outstanding. The wait staff is friendly & efficient. Can become noisy at times & become a bit chilly when the A/C is cracked. This eatery is the best.
Masa used to be very good.
When we went the last time, they no longer provide miso soup with a hibachi order, and the chef dumped a good portion of the rice into the trash before offering it to the guests. The quality of the food overall seems to have gone downhill as well while the prices took a slight hike.
Had reservations for 6:30.
Didn't start cooking until 7:40. We got our drinks and a salad and then nothing for almost an hour. They were out of several items including some things that were part of the meal. We ordered two filet dinners ($32 each) and both meals had NO taste. The rice was bland and the steaks were as well. No teriyaki sauce or any seasonings other than soy sauce. This place used to be so good but I would not go back.

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
