Shelly was absolutely amazing! She made sure we had everything that we needed. The food here is phenomenal along with the drinks. 10/10 would recommend.
SHELLY WAS PHENOMINAL.
she was full of good suggestions too! The food was DIVINE. We came here by accident but the best accident to happen!
Out of all of the places I ate during my 5 Day stay this
Out of all of the places I ate during my 5 Day stay this was the best! The food and service were great. Mary is the kindest! The hostess was great as well.
Mediocre
Was craving some crawfish etoufe and ordered it; was very disappointed; there was (seriously) no crawfish in the etouffe. Basically had soup with rice. Was very disappointed; told the wireless about it and she apologized, spoke to the manager who said that he had plated it himself and it was fine. It wasn’t. No crawfish. Service was fast and efficient and pricing reasonable
Went twice during my recent trip to NOLA.
It was so good the first time we had to go again. First night we had a party of 11 and everyone was happy with all their food and drinks. My GF and I went back the next night for food again and a couple of drinks. We sat at the bar. Nailed it again.
Excellent service and delicious food.
Many choices. Prices reasonable for gourmet food.
Was very excited to try this place out for the atmosphere
Was very excited to try this place out for the atmosphere alone. Unfortunately we really couldn't enjoy it as they pack you in like sardines. We couldn't even move and were almost in the people's laps next to us. We tried the 4-crescent sampler. We were underwhelmed. 4 small cups and they tasted similar. Sadly nothing stood out If the 4, we enjoyed the jambalaya the best. The gumbo, we found one piece of meat so that was disappointing. The king cake daiquiri was interesting. The highlight was the Abita Amber, that was tasty. I'm still giving a shout out to the historic bldg.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and could not have been more happy! The ambiance is very cool. The food was amazing- especially the friend green tomatoes with shrimp! And, our server Mary was incredible. She was so friendly and made us feel right at home. She was truly a highlight of our trip to NOLA! Can't wait to eat there again next time we visit!
Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes with blackened
Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes with blackened shrimp and remoulade. Also the Pistolettes! Get the New Orleans sampler dinner if you can't decide. Food is great, building historic, service fantastic.
One of my favorite dinner spots in The Quarter.
The wine selection might just be okay but the food and service are both excellent. I had the blackened chicken Alfredo with a side of slaw. Next time around I swear I'll leave room for dessert.
Best place I've eaten at on my trip to New Orleans.
So good! Jambalaya is so flavorful. Order the redfish on alfredo pasta. The seafood pot pie was to die for. We ordered an extra biscuit with butter because it was that fluffy and buttery. The crab cakes are phenomenal! The meat pies are so delicious and the sauce it comes with is so yummy! A little pricey for sure but so worth it! Service was really fast! Loved that kitchen manager brought us our food. Our server was amazing and gave great recommendations! 100% will return next time I'm in New Orleans

I accidentally left my purse here after having dinner with friends. I was so anxious about losing my ID and not being able to get in the plane home! I went back the next day and the manager had it waiting for me! Thank you for saving my life!! Plus, the Best gumbo I had while in Nola!
While the food and service were great, interior was really
While the food and service were great, interior was really cool, the food portions were much smaller than what was expected.
The muffuletta was great and the service was fantastic.
The restaurant has a great location and atmosphere.
went to panda King for lunch .
. the food was absolutely disgusting . Fried rice dry . noodles old. Eggrolls RAW do you even fuck up some ice cream That bitch even came in a Togo cup. . How the fuck did the first bite give me bubble guts. Another thing the drinks taste like bleach what the fuck do you guys use to wash your dishes? Matter of fact. My boyfriend got bubble guts by the smell when we walked in. Save your $25 and go to Mickey D's and get you a bundle. Other than that the service good he even came and asked how everything was.
Food is always pretty good but service is horrible.
The hostess, the waitress and food runner all short w you and rude. Hostess seemed annoyed w ask for a table at 11:15am. Waitress took 10+ min to get there. Asked for our order and gone in 10 seconds. And we had to ask for our check 3 times. Grew up going here but service is unbearable!!!!
Yelp images were so much better than person.
Our waitress was nice but the food was not the best. The place is very tight I believe there's another location which was much nicer.
My first stop in New Orleans.
So glad we started our New Orleans experience at this lively place with good food! Our server-Renee(?)-- was INCREDIBLY helpful and nice. And the food was just purely amazing. I hope you can also Unlock your Free Entree here! It was like a $17 order for free! And we got Shrimp Pistolett for free! I also got a sampler of different soup(?) or jambalaya kind because I like to try different things. Yummy food, incredible service, and lively ambiance!
We walked into a tavern-like restaurant in the afternoon
We walked into a tavern-like restaurant in the afternoon and was greeted by our server. She was super bubbly and had an amazing attitude. We were blown away by how hospitable she was, I wish I could give her a shoutout but unfortunately forgot her name; she was simply lovely even though she was waiting on a ton of tables and looked super busy. The French Onion Soup was superb - 4.5/5 The combo we got was decent - 3/5 The crab cakes we got were decent also - 3.5/5 The dining room was a bit chilly but the service was so amazing, we'd come back and dine for sure!

This place was amazing!!!! The best food we had on our trip!!! If that wasn't enough reason to keep us coming back our waitress Shelly would definitely be another. She seems to know how to read people very well. She asked both my husband and I a few questions and made suggestions based on our answers. I'm adventurous and everything she suggested I had never eaten before and I couldn't have been happier. It was all fantastic and so was my husband's meal. We didn't want to leave!!! Thank you SO much Shelly!!!
Great food, better people! You want something delicious in
Great food, better people! You want something delicious in the heart of the French quarter? Try the fish or the French onion soup.
Good quick dinner
Stopped in for dinner, busy but we were seated quickly. Started with the gator bites which were good with a good dip, but the portion was kinda skimpy. Thumbs up good for the shrimp and grits, po-boy and cold beers. Lotta good restaurants to hit in N.O., and this is one of the good places.
Delicious food in historic building
The food was amazing, service wonderful and historic building set a great atmosphere. Great open feeling to the street on two sides. The fried green tomato and shrimp app was delicious! The shrimp and grits sauce was the best I’ve ever had. It was a Chardonnay roux with plenty of red pepper for heat, lots of shrimp and creamy grits. Yum! Would definitely come back on next visit.
A must must must have. Try the Crab cake. I mean it. DELICIOUS! And im French ✌️🤣
Amazing food We not eating pork so we went for shrimps and both dish we had were amazing Crab cake omg a must have Service wad soooo fast Good vibe Only point is : cut the fans. Its cold inside . No need fans or ac
Just OK
There sampler entree of traditional New Orleans was small and nothing special. Very good crab cakes. Waitress very friendly but forgot out drinking order. Copper Vine on Poydras St much better choice.
Great place!
We were recommended this by TWO locals to the area. It did not disappoint. The Pot Pie was amazing! Beautiful inside too. Tiny little place but the food is wonderful. If there is ever a wait, it's worth it.
Great Food, Even Better Atmosphere
This place is located fairly close to Jackson Square and most of the Quarter. The dining area is relatively small and loaded with atmosphere. As for food, we had the Crescent City Sampler which included crawfish etouffee (excellent), red beans and rice (excellent), and jambalaya (average). We also split the blackened chicken alfredo which was outstanding. Service was surprisingly quick, especially in light of how busy it was around noon on a weekend. Would strongly recommend for a delicious meal in a great environment.
Old Staple off Bourbon
Stopped in on our first night in New Orleans. Last minute decision. I had the local beers - Abita's Andygator I had the Crescent City Sampler to get me started for the weekend -- Sampling of the city’s most famous dishes - Cajun Jambalaya, Crawfish Etouffée, Red Beans and Rice, and Chicken & Andouille Gumbo Etouffee was tasty, Red Beans and Rice was solid, Gumbo was delicious, but the Jambalaya was dry. Would recommend: Sure, in a pinch. Would re-patronize: Probably not
Average food, questionable service.
We stopped by for lunch after taking a carriage ride in the French Quarter. The place was busy, but we were seated immediately. We both ordered drinks, the waitress brought my husband but forgot my wine. He later told her to please bring my wine, which she did. He ordered the grits, which he liked. I ordered the blackened chicken jambalaya, which was okay, but not worth the price. The problem we had was when we got the final bill. On the bill was a entree that we did not order. The people at the next table were also questioning their bill, as well. It turns out the he never received his beer and they were also charged for an entree that they did not order. Our carriage driver recommended Napoleon’s, but it was raining and there was a line waiting to get in. The moral of the story is to make sure you check your bill if visiting this place.
Great meal and ambiance
Loved the old world look of this place. There were 6 of us, and everyone loved what they ordered. I had the chicken and waffles with a honey tabasco sauce and maple syrup -- fantastic! Staff we interacted with were friendly and superb. The tables are very close together, so you might be trapped in your chair for a while during peak times.
Lovely Red Fish
Very nice supper. I had the red fish and it was excellent. The server was chilled but attentive and I really enjoyed my supper here. I didn’t realise until afterwards that the building was historic but I’d recommend it to future diners.
