Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille 11801 Domain Blvd Austin, TX 78758 United States Austin Reviews from The Last Year
Food was done perfectly to our liking.
The staff was fine but wasn't too attentive but we didn't mind because we had no where else to go. Been here twice and as long as you aren't rushing, it's a great experience. The restaurant is beautiful with lots of ambience and it's at the Domain which is my favourite shopping location.
Visited this location last week and my fiance' got food
Visited this location last week and my fiance' got food poisoning from eating the pork chop. Told 2 managers about the situation and both said they would have to do an investigation and get back to me. When they did get back to me, they let me know that the food was at the right temperature and there were no other complaints. Is this for real? Is this the kind of customer service that Perry's provides to clients that support their restaurants? I have been to Perry's at least 25 times and I have recommended it way more. No offer to refund. No offer to invite us back again on them. Zero respect for what happened and zero initiative to make it right. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!!!
This was an incredible experience.
Very expensive but Went on a work trip and oh man oh man am I glad we chose this places amazing.. It was a little loud cause it was so busy...but Beautiful restaurant. Server Cody was very nice and handled our request with very little thought. Great food. The pork chops were HUGEEE and full of amazing flavors. I'm not a fan of mushrooms but of course I gave them a try and OMG SOOOO good...great dessert.. So delicious! I definitely see myself going back.

Went to Perry's for dinner and the service and food was amazing! When we sat down, the server was extremely professional and the hospitable! They were busy, yet we never felt like we were rushed. Corrine, the manager, came over and made sure everything was to our liking, even though they were very busy, she took the time to make sure we felt extremely welcomed. The Pork Chop and the Prime NY Strip were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was extremely pleasant and the servers were knowledgeable about which wine went with what. We will definitely go back! Thank you for such a wonderful evening and experience!
Went to Perry's for the first time last Friday.
Luckily we had called ahead and reserved a table. The place was packed when we arrived and after checking in we were seated a few minutes later. The dining room was well appointed and lovely. Our server Duke was prompt and took our drink and starter orders. Our drinks arrived quickly and were delicious. We ordered the Friday special of the pork chop which comes with potato mash and applesauce. The pork chop was huge, tasty, and melted in my mouth. Please note that the Friday special is half sized. We upscaled the potatoes to include all the fixings' and they were delicious. I also ordered the asparagus with lump crab meat. It was out of this world good. The only eensie teensie quibble I could find was the noise level of so many people obviously enjoying a perfect luncheon. Of course with such a generously sized pork chop we took our leftovers home to enjoy the next day. (Lovely as leftovers also) We are now big fans of Perry's and look forward to trying more of their lovely menu.

My family and I went here over the weekend to celebrate my brother and I birthdays. I have a couple key points from the experience I wanna hit on: Service: For starters, our reservation was at 8:15 and we didn't get seated until 8:45pm or so. It was very busy, so I'll give them that, but we actually had to end up asking if our table was ready because we had been waiting so long to which the hostess exclaimed "Oh, we had been calling you guys for like 15 minutes - I didn't realize you were right in front of me!" Turns out they did call me, but the service inside the restaurant wasn't great so I didn't receive their voicemail until after we left the dinner. I'm not gonna fault them too much for this as it was busy and I did notice afterwards they tried sending me texts while I was in the restaurant saying my table was ready - I just didn't receive them due to poor reception. My family and I still found it a bit odd though, they didn't call our names out or anything considering we were right in front of her for about 30 minutes. Once we sat down though it was smooth sailing! Our waiter gave us a free dessert each and was very attentive. Food: It was delicious! This place is definitely an upscale place to go for special occasions but oh my goddd is the food worth it! Everything was delicious and everyone left happy with full bellies. Ambiance: I personally liked the ambiance - nice, dark and intimate. That being said, my parents were having trouble reading the menu for the exact same reasons jaja, so to each their own! In summary, I'm only docking a star for the late service, but I'd probably go back again on a special occasion. Food was delicious, we loved the comped desserts and everyone had a good time, so that's good enough for me!
OMG!!! The best lamb chops and ribeye you will ever eat!
OMG!!! The best lamb chops and ribeye you will ever eat! This place was amazing a bit pricey but worth every penny. Try the crab cakes and the stuffed mushrooms. The service was amazing as well and so were the cocktails. This is a must try... bring your wallet : )
Very bad experience at what is supposed to be a very good
Very bad experience at what is supposed to be a very good upscale restaurant. Had an 8:30 pm reservation for my sister's birthday. We were not seated until 9:10. No real explanation or sympathy from the hostess. Then one of us orders lobster. 5-10 minutes later the waiter comes back and tells out they are out of lobster. Probably because we were seated 35 minutes late. Then when the food arrives 4 out of 5 get our food. The order for redfish did not come and we were told it was a "kitchen problem". We were told it would be out in 10 minutes. After 25 minutes, when everyone else was done eating the fish arrived. The fish was comped. The manager came over at one point but didn't seem to care much. This is not "fine dining"! We will not be going back.
Really wanted to like it
First time to the Domain location. Had previously dined downtown with great success. This location has all the makings of a great meal. The hostess were great. Wonderful booth. Service was lacking. Long wait for some things, wine didn't arrive, table never cleared of appetizer plates, steak knives delivered AFTER the steak. It was like everyone was waiting for someone else to do it. We spent $500 for 2 and will not be back.
The service was excellent.
The food was great. We've been to both downtown and domain and love them both. Make sure you get the pork chop.
over salted steak.
Calamari was a little over done. Just not a good experience in general, way over priced. Flemings was was better for the $$$
I'm not sure I've ever posted a bad review before but
I'm not sure I've ever posted a bad review before but exceptional times call for a break in that tradition. Tonight, I "treated" my best friend to a birthday dinner, as we always do. We didn't go to our usual spot because they discontinued the petite filet and we are just not up for eating half a cow. Perry's was no treat. I haven't had a meal go that wrong since Water Street served me a crab cake containing a whole, giant cockroach some 20 years ago. It began well enough. The waiter shared a sweet story about a kind boss early in his career when a bottle of wine was rejected by the customer. I've never been the kind of patron who would reject a $400 bottle of wine just because I didn't like it. It seemed like we were off to a good start. We ordered and got our wine, but when the steaks came out, neither steak was cooked to order. Mine was underdone; my friend's was overdone. Neither was the temp the other had ordered. My friend was missing a scallop. The sides arrived quite a while after the meat. The Brussels sprouts were as ordered; the potato dish was completely wrong. So we sent the potatoes and steaks back, and the staff left the Brussels sprouts to congeal on the table. Later, we are expected to eat them off a cast iron platter swimming in grease. I asked for all new sides. I'm feeling like a pest but I can honestly cook and time service better than this. As we are working towards a second hour without food, I notice the tables of Elon Musk lookalikes surrounding us. No women sit at their tables. SXSW visitors probably. At this point, I start to assume that the staff thinks two older ladies won't tip well--contrary to my long standing practice of tipping well, but prescient, as it turns out. Certainly, the men are getting better service. Hour 2: The Potato dish delivered by a manager needs to be sent back again. My steak is part overcooked, part undercooked. My friend's is just not good. The meat holds its shape about as well as The Donald and is absolutely smothered in garlic and butter in a feeble attempt to disguise mediocre beef. If we wanted beef medallions, we would have ordered them. Two managers visit us. Neither delivers what is ordered. We eat what we can and order a creme bruleé. Even I can make creme brulee. How can it possibly go wrong? It arrives eventually--maybe two hours into the experience. The custard is runny. Perry's comped the side dishes, and dessert and apologized. The bill was still well over $200. I left a $10 tip. I've never tipped that poorly before. Honestly, it felt like $10 too much.
Excellent food and service.
Every detail of the dinner was superb. Crispy red snapper was outstanding.
Perry's steakhouse never seems to disappoint.
Our server was informative and funny. The tables are always perfectly set. We absolutely love the espresso martinis we got, and the escargot made the meal memorable.

Fantastic food (steaks and the pork chop), great service, and wonderful atmosphere. Love this place for date nights and business dinners.
I will start off by saying the food was great.
Went Friday for the best pork chop in town. The service was the worst we ever had at Perry's. First we waited at the table for a pretty long time before the waiter came over. When he poured the water he spilled some on the table, that water was still there when we left. We ask for some bread. When the pork chops came we still hadn't gotten our bread. We asked the server who brought our food if we can get some. He was the one who brought it. We didn't see the waiter till we were done and my wife ask for a container. It took forever to bring us a container. While waiting we discussed dessert but my wife said it will take him too long to bring it, so we didn't get any. This not being are first time there we didn't get a bag with the to go container. We had to ask one of the person who were cleaning the table next to us.
A classic steakhouse you can't go wrong with.
I dine here 1-2x a year and each time I have a great dining experience. The attention to detail is top notch and the service is fantastic. I've been here on different days of the week and different times of the day (afternoons and evenings). Their Caesar salad is delicious as well as their pork chops of course. The ribeye is so good and I love the mac and cheese. If they have the white chocolate cheesecake (it's seasonal), you must absolutely get it. It's absolutely divine! I'm not sure why this location has a 3.5 star rating but I've been going here for years.

My first time visiting, I was quite let down by the standard of customer service. The demeanor of the hostess hinted at a rough day, which unfortunately translated into the service I received. Furthermore, my server displayed some sass in response to comments made at the table, despite them not being directed at him. However, despite these shortcomings, I must commend the establishment for their impeccably crafted specialty drinks and delectable desserts. The Lavender Bee Mine cocktail was a standout, and the Seasonal Cheesecake was an absolute delight. Additionally, the lemon bar, and the Rocky Road Bread Pudding desserts were equally just as good. If you come for the lunch special, I recommend sharing, as the portion size of the pork chop with mashed potatoes is quite a lot. It would be beneficial to include an extra side, as the meal only comes with one.

I wish I could leave negative stars! We came to Austin to celebrate our wedding anniversary so we ordered Perry's to go. We were given a pick up time of 8:10 and we ended up having to wait an extra 40 minutes because they gave our steak to someone else. Due to us having to wait, we were given cold food and we were not given our cheesecake. The pork chop starter was cold and dry and such a waste of money. I'm very disappointed! We called and they took our info to give to a manager tomorrow because there wasn't one available tonight. We are headed back home tomorrow and will never return! We should have went across the street to Yard House instead. What a disappointing waste of time and money!
Food was amazing.
The pork chop was cooked to perfection. Super large so you may consider sharing. The staff at this location were wonderful. All in all a great experience. While our daughter enjoyed the seafood tower the most I personally would recommend starting with the BBQ shrimp. Not pictured was the Chateaubriand Three Ways (Description below). That was my husband's favorite. 8 oz. of Premium Center-cut Filet Mignon, sliced into 3 medallions and individually topped Oscar-style with jumbo lump crabmeat, 3-peppercorn au Poivre, and coffee crusted.
Mediocre lunch for reasonable price.
Friday lunch for the pork chops, very tender with a nice glaze. Added the bacon marmalade with blu cheese, not worth the added $5. Appetizer of seafood stuffed mushrooms was bland and sauce was almost tasteless. Scallops over pasta was unimpressed, sauces were lacking in seasoning
Way too salty.
Atmosphere was nice but definitely crowded and noisy. I don’t believe the rating of $$$ is accurate and would suggest $$$$ or $$$$$ to be more appropriate. The meats, especially my filet was extremely salty. Had to actually scrape the top of my steak to make it edible. For the price we paid I expected much better. Perry’s Steakhouse is definitely off my list for future visits. Great potential but missed the mark. 😩😩😩
Enjoyable Evening
We enjoyed our evening and dinner at Perry’s. The restaurant was busy, but service was excellent. Steaks were delicious and the New York steak flight was nice to try. Cocktails were great too! Parking is close in the Green Lot
Missing bread
Their table setting include a bread plate but they never gave us bread. The other tables got bread, just not us. The pecan-smoked salmon was a cooked and chilled salmon that was smoked. It was very good and the sauce that came with it was tasty. Caesar salad was well-dressed and included 2 anchovies. Bone-in cowboy ribeye was gristly, which was disappointing for $79. You can get better for less than half the price at LongHorn. Martini flight was a flight of 3 different kinds of fruit juices. The dessert, Orange Cheesecake, was good. The crust was the best. Service was attentive, so how could have he not given us bread?
Ways to save money: avoid beverages, shareable side dishes or none at all. Pretty inside.
Took our late reservation. Was able to dress up or down. Friendly staff. Very clean. Checking tables with lights when people were finished. Everything was the correct temperature. Menu items explained and suggested. Parking lot close by, lots of shops near by.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!

Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
