Sea Harbour Seafood Restaurant Rosemead Reviews from The Last Year
Came in as a group of 4 at around 1pm on saturday.
We got seated right away. Food was so so good. Much better than the dimsum in OC.
Horrible service and corrupt receptionist.
My family showed up and waited for 2 hours as well as a lot of other people, but nobody was getting let in. They make us get a number to wait, but they don't even use their number system. The receptionist just seemed to be letting in people she knew or maybe people that were giving her money. So many people were just outraged in the lobby trying to ask why we have been waiting for so long and the receptionist just said to look at the number board but it hadn't updated since we got here. This used to be my favorite place but now everythings just going downhill. Will not be returning

I don’t expect good service when I go to Chinese restaurants but this place by far has the worst staff. Food is ok. It’s the usual SGV thick skinned dim sum. No delicate dishes or anything impressive, except maybe the cucumber, but it’s not worth paying to get treated like a dunce in front of your family. The hostess especially is ruder than anyone I’ve experienced at DMV, Immigration, or TSA. She barks at customers like a herd of dummies and if you ask a server for water or anything else they’ll tell you to ask your waiter. You can’t tell which ones are waiters or servers cause they all pretend to not understand English, and they look at you like your retarded if you ask a question like “can I get some hot sauce”. I’ve left many restaurant reviews but this is my first bad review. Do not come here unless you want to be treated like a complete idiot.

Not an enjoyable experience for 5 people only one tiny dish of mustard and chili that we had to ask for! The duck wasn't crispy or had much flavor we left it. We didn't get our dessert obviously will not come back not that they really care for POC. Wasted 170 bucks never again

I remember this place being better when I came here in the past, but I guess I should've looked at the recent reviews before coming. The wait was pretty darn long on the weekend and they announce the numbers outside, but it's SO loud and they repeat it multiple times in case you're deaf so be prepared to cover your ears. Also annoying that there were people smoking outside. They skip around when they call out the numbers cause the party sizes are different. Their dim sum menu wasn't very extensive or unique and I miss the days where they rolled around the carts. For some dishes, the dim sum fillings were pretty skimpy like for the lo mai gai/sticky rice with chicken and the fried dumplings/ham sui gok. I enjoyed the vegetarian dumplings and shrimp and leek dumplings cause they were more filled. Beef cheung fen was mid and not very flavorful. We tried the chicken and bittermelon one which was interesting but also not very flavorful other than the bittermelon taste. Shu mai with truffle topping was good. The fried squab was $50 for two and there wasn't much meat. Pretty steep for something with so little meat but I'm not sure what the standard is. The Chinese broccoli / gailan was alright but for the price charged, you get very little. The date pudding was not good, but the chrysanthemum jelly was good and refreshing. We overheard a waiter rudely asking the table next to us if they did their math wrong cause they apparently tipped too little. I'd rather go elsewhere next time since there are a lot of other dim sum options in the SGV.
One of my favorite dim sum places.
Get here early as there is usually a long wait. The parking behind the restaurant fills up quickly and you may have to park on the street. We came in right at 11 and waited around 15 minutes. Great service, one of the best I've had for not having a private room. Every dish was tasty. Portions are smaller compared to other restaurants. We like everyday especially the shrimp rice noodle with the stuff Chinese donut inside. Will come back again and again and again.
Sea Harbour is our go to for dim sum.
While the lines can get crazy, the food always makes it worthwhile, though for parties of 8 or more, you can reserve a table in advance. Lots of dishes to choose from here, and some of my hidden gem favorites are the salty egg yolk buns (they taste like a bun filled with gooey cake batter), the cucumber salad, and the black fungus in vinegar. All of the classic dim sum plates are done right here, especially the pork buns, rice noodles, and dumplings. Every time I come, I take a quick walk around to see if there are any dishes that I don't recognize that look good - there always are - so that I can try something new. Never disappoints and well worth the drive and wait.

This place used to be my go-to place, however, I previously had a very bad batch of fried smelt. Today, I just bought ham sui gok with plastic in the food. It is time to go somewhere else.
Delicious dim sum and tea.
The service was fast and menu is easy to order off of. Ambiance is typical.
Long wait on a Friday lunch.
We got seated at 1 but they already ran out of the cha siu Bao and the crispy cha siu Bao which they are known for. Had to opt for other things which were good enough.
Seafood Harbor always has a line out the door.
I always see crowds waiting when I drive up and down Rosemead Blvd. While off on a weekday, my boyfriend and I seized the opportunity of no lines to have dim sum here for a late breakfast. Surprisingly they have a bib gourmand, which usually depicts good quality or good value cooking. I disagree cause this was one of the pricier dim sum spots in the area, and the quality was at best average. Service was consistently negligent or poor. No carts here. Sadly. I prefer the dim sum restaurants with the carts. You get a piece of paper to mark your order. And they use a key where the pricing key is on the bottle left of the paper, so as you mark, if you aren't aware you can be marking pricey items. The sneaky pricing creep. So we had our paper filled out and waited for so long I had to waive the sheet in the air until someone came and got it. Normally ordering by the paper gets your food coming out around the similar timing but our food came out slowlyyyyyy and in batches. 2 items never came out and we had to ask TWICE before they brought them out, while some tables after us starting getting their food. Seating was also uncomfortable. My boyfriend's chair was so close to the person behind him, they couldn't help but bump into each other getting in and out of the seat. And my seat so close to their side door that I could smell the smoke outside, and a cold breeze. None of this is feeling Michelin Bib worthy. The tea and condiment charge was $2/person. We got Jasmine tea, but interesting the receipt says condiment when I didn't get any condiments. When they dropped off the tea it was like a really careless drop with the tea spilling out from the spout. We shared the following items: Deep Fried Sesame Balls ($5.38) - Flavor was mostly okay but a tad overcooked. An essence of burnt after taste. Pork & Shrimp Dumpling w Truffle Sauce ($7.38) - Fancy shu mai gone wrong. It was juicy but the flavors were awful. The alleged truffle was oily in texture. I'm not a fan. Steamed Rice Noodle with Shrimp ($7.38) - Decent. The steamed rice noodle could be softer and more delicate but the shrimp was big. House No. 1 Baked BBQ Pork Bun ($6.38) - One of the better items for the day, but average. Milk and Egg White Custard Tart ($6.38) - They came looking oval like my tarts got squeezed. A less sweet to the point of blandness of an egg tart. Pass. I like the original version elsewhere. Shrimp Dumpling ($7.38) - My boyfriend liked this one the most it seems. The wrapper was a nice thinness and chewiness to him. Pan Fried Savory Pancakes ($10.98) - Awful. So oily. I tried to take a bite and I spit it out since the texture tasted undercooked and I didn't want to get cooked. Overpriced, mediocre, and poor service. I'm glad I don't have an urge to wait in those long lines for such a lackluster experience. Not recommended.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!

So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res

Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
